Hi, my name is Mi-Ree... my friends call me Ree

I fell in love with the gym, fitness, and all things good for the body when I met my husband 15 years ago. Before that, I wouldn’t have known a dumbbell from a kettlebell, let alone how to speak the language of gym-tounge. But meeting him opened up a whole new world, and I’ve never looked back.

In the past 15 years, I've been fortunate enough to combine my passion for travel with my love of fitness, exploring gyms across the globe. My fitness journey has taken me from bodybuilding competitions and 12-week challenges to running the City to Surf, boxing classes (I’m a big UFC fan and even attended a live event), and dipping my toes into yoga, pilates, swimming, hiked Machu Picchu Peru and an active volcano in Guatemala and sports including (and even pickleball—despite that sport giving me a spectacularly broken ankle within the first five minutes. (Don’t worry, I got back on the court 18 months later!)

I’m the kind of person who’ll give almost any workout a go. Almost. You won’t find me rock climbing—sorry, climbers, it’s just not my thing!
